Next gen’ – Retro Torqueblade’s,

We are very excited at Torqueblade to offer the next generation in Torqueblades. Based on the demand of many of you folks out there, and a deep regard for the environment we at Torqueblade have decided to produce blades made out of a hard wearing, renewable source with a low carbon foot print. In short, the blades are now made from wood, and to be precise Hickory. Hickory is a dense material and long lasting if looked after properly. The blades have been coated in linseed oil which offers a water proof protection but still allows for a tactile bonding which varnish does not. The blade becomes part of the individual a more organic relationship.

We at Torqueblade are very happy with the new material and in the near future there may be more exotic woods available depending on demand. If you have any requests for certain woods (and a flexible wallet) please contact us.

These blades are for training only, they are to be used inconjunction with the Torqueblade and Tranquilblade regime, they can can be used in martial arts forms or as an adaptable training tool for impromptu weapons.
